How to install CDM+ Desktop on a Mac

This article will take the user from download to the connection of the CDM+ Desktop application to the users hosted database.

1. Open Suran Help Center - open browser and go to help.suran.com
2. Click on the CDM+ Desktop tile in the bottom left of the page
   
   

   

   
   
   
3. Click on Download Latest 
   
   

   

   
   
   
4. Click on 'Download for macOS'
   
   

   

   
   
   
5. Once the download is complete, go to your Downloads folder, double-click the installer, then follow the on-screen instructions to install CDM+ Desktop.
   
   

   

   
   
   
6. With the CDM+ Desktop application installed, go to the Applications folder, and double-click the CDM+ icon.
7. This will open the CDM+ Setup Assistant. Click Continue to begin the setup process.
   
   

   

   
   
   
8. Select 'Use existing CDM+ database.
9. Click Continue
   
   

   

   
   
   
10. Select 'Use CDM+ Hosting,' then enter the User ID and Password from the Welcome to CDM+ email.
    
    

    

    
    
    
11. Once CDM+ Desktop connects to your hosting site, you will see a database list. Select the database in the list and click OK.
    
    

    

    
    
    
12. CDM+ Desktop will connect and show the Login window
    
    

    

    
    
    
13. If you do not see a list of usernames, but you see something like this...
    
    

    

    
    
    
14. Click on Install Update to update your copy of CDM+ Desktop.
